Murphy has been diagnosed with hepatitus and mild to moderate fibrosis.
He is now on Denamarine, Amoxcilin, some others. He also is on a liver diet.
He seems tired to me.
We had taken him to the vet over a month and a half ago b/c he was licking his front paw a lot and it was inflamed. Well, they did a lot of tests, thought he had this fatal disease which starts out with hetan....but it is hepatitus.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience?
So sorry to hear about Murphy. How are you holding up?
Do they (vets) know what has caused or is causing the inflammation of the liver (hepetitis)? That's where you want to start. ...and it (hepetitis) will cause him to slow down.
What is the liver diet they have put him on?
What is the prognosis from the vet? Have you had an opportunity to do any research online?
