I've seen a wolfhound that big. I was standing at the counter at the vet office when suddenly one plopped his head down on the counter. (Yes, he has to lower his neck some to do it.) And those counters are pretty high!

One of my "to own" breeds on the list. A lady was re-homing two her dogs on CL, if I wasn't renting and made more money I'd have taken them in.

Such gorgeous dogs! I once had a neighbor with a cream colored one and even for a female dog, she was BIG! I think I read somewhere that an Irish wolfhound on its hind legs can be over 6.5' tall! It boggles my mind why great Danes always seem to beat them in "world's tallest dogs" competitions.

Eevee me too! Apollo of dogs maybe but I would not say they are the biggest, compared to IW.
