Those are good, and canola is fine. We buy salmon oil in a pump bottle and an adult dog gets one squirt with each meal. A big bottle lasts a long time. Karma's coat is magnificent, and not dry at all. It was pretty ratty and dry when we got her in November. She also eats a good food, Blue Buffalo.

Coconut oil works wonders but you need to get the organic virgin oil (you can still find this at Costco and at Whole Foods)

You have to start slow - most recommend 1tsp/day/10lbs of dog but you take your time building up to that.

I'm using up the vet E oil on all except Moofie (the Pom who hates fish). I'm giving him a bit of olive oil. Then they'll all get olive oil. I might get some E oil for Benny, who eats anything, and is especially dry in his dotage. Thanks to all for suggestions. Moofie will *not* go near fish anything.
