I have a 6 month old male Cava-Chon puppy that I am looking for a forever home for. We are having major financial struggles and are not able to give him what her needs. He is all up to date on vaccinations.
Thank you,

You do not indicate if he is neutered. Please make sure he is neutered before you farm him out to a new family.

What in the heck is a "Cava-Chon"? CKC spaniel - something?
OK just googled it - CKC crossed with Bichon.

OP, where are you located? Have you contacted the breeder, or either breed rescue?
Is your pup neutered, HW-neg, crate trained, house trained, leash-trained, used to cats or other dogs, kids? A yes on any of these would be a huge plus when trying to rehome a dog. Mixed-breed dogs are a tough sell.
Has your pup been checked for cardiac health? CKCs are extremely prone to heart problems so it would also be a plus to potential adopters if yours has been cardiac-cleared.

If you give us your location we can try to help you find reputable foster-home rescues in your area. Or you can go to Pet adoption: Want a dog or cat? Adopt a pet on Petfinder and search for foster rescues in your region. Look for rescues with strict adoption requirements that perform thorough reference checks and home visits so that your dog has the best chances of finding a forever home this time.

If you can't find a qualified friend, family member, or acquaintance to take the dog, a rescue is really your best option. Hopefully you already know never to re-home a dog via craigslist, lawn signs, or newspaper ads. Since your dog is up to date on vaccinations, that means you have a vet, right? Contact the practice and ask if they can recommend a rescue or if they might have a client looking for a new pet. Where did you get your pup? If he is from a rescue or a reputable breeder, they should take him back.

It may not need to be said here, but I'm going to say it anyway: do not get another dog. We've seen it before.. owners ditching a dog as he enters the adolescent phase due to financial reasons.. then getting a new puppy 2 weeks later...
