Hi all! We'll be making our move to Washington in June (good thing Peanut loves road trips), and I was wondering what to expect as far as my dogs' health. Our biggest concern in the desert is parvo, but heartworm, fleas, ticks, etc., really aren't issues here. We'll be living on the edge of a cattle ranch, that backs up to forest land, with a creek and pond on the property, and a river across the street. MUCH more water than we're accustomed to. They're up to date on all their regular vaccinations. Are there precautions or preventive treatments I should be on top of? Anything I should start on now to get them prepped?
(They're also swimming pool water safe, and I'll make sure they're "natural" water safe.
)
