LOL I loved it and sent it right away to a friend who breeds, trains and competes her longhaired reds in all sorts of things every thing from field trials to hunt tests to tracking to obedience to agility. All of her dogs LEAP into the water and one of the dogs who she bred and is owned by someone else competes her dog in dock diving. A well bred Daschund is a fantastic athlete.

I hear from the doggie daycare staff that our Teddy loves to splash around in their kiddie pool. I'm not surprised because he also loves to splash around in his water bowl. So, do you think I can find a hard plastic pool for the doggies anywhere in this heat? Um, no. My husband tells me to get the blowup kind, and I'm like, "Uh, yeah, I spend an hour huffing and puffing into that thing (no compressor here) only to have Teddy bite through it?!

Try Walmart. Or what about a feed store. Maybe a galvanized one would do.
Or I saw this one on Toys-R-Us website. This is what I used to use for my beasts.
