It is all relative.
No filing claims for you but when the burglar breaks in and is chewed up he can then sue you for cruel and unusual punishment, loss of wages etc!

Breed restriction is a numbers game, as in they want to reduce their exposure and collect (and keep) as much money as possible. Breed restrictions are now on military bases, most rental properties and many home insurance policies.

I had Allstate for many years and they never asked me about dogs. When I moved to TX, I was asked and denied coverage (both home and car) b/c I have a pit bull. The agent tried to argue for me but they refused to even exclude dog bites - just no coverage period. I had a broker call around and she tired 18 companies - no coverage except Loyd's would cover but exclude dog bites and at a VERY high price. I went with State Farm. My agent had to come out and meet the dogs (other one is a GSD mix) to be sure they were friendly. Since they are, I got coverage with no problems.

I now recommend State Farm to everybody as non-discriminatory!

I have a feeling he would move on the next house with no fences, security systems, and large barking dogs patrolling the grounds.
