i think they have a lot of expressions! have a jac russel pup and the other day he thought i was getting him a doggie treat when i was getting a mommy treat..the look on his face was priceless when i popped it in my mouth...his eyes opened really wide and his ears went straight up and u could almost see a caption over his head ....WTF???!!!...disbelief that i ate one of his treats...hhahahaha..he did get one of his own though

I used to have a dog back in the 70's that if you just said "Smile Bengie" he would show his teeth,
not in a threatening manner either. Did he know what he was doing?

The file name is smilewag.jpg. Notice the blurry tail! This was our Jimmy. Dogs absolutely DO smile!

I would say yes. As soon as I grab the leash for our walks my dogs have the famous bottom canine smile! So if I want a dogggie smile all I have to do is grab the leash.

Wow Tina he has gotten so big doesn't look like a little puppy anymore! And yes that looks like a big smile to me as he looks very happy.
