I'd heard of it, but didn't know the full story, that it was an actual wild breed of dog. Interesting stuff!

I belong to several groups who have Carolina Dogs. I think my girl is a Carolina Dog mix.

Yes.... also Mountain Cur. Both excellent hog dogs. From my understanding.

I had one - a WONDERFUL boy! He lived to be 15 years old and was a sweet member of the family the whole time. A great breed of dog - highly recommended.
