I buy my collars here. But these are made for large breed dogs.

I found really cute pet ID tags on Etsy, I'm sure they have some great collars too.

HOLY COW!!! Who pays $130-250 for a dog collar??? Sorry, but that's pretty excessive.

I forward that link to a coworker. I bet she buys something for her pup. I think he has a collar for every occasion. She couldn't believe when I told her Bella has ONE. (add it was under $50)

I would LOVE to be able to buy something new for the hounds.

But, they have to have plain orange hunting collars with our name and number attacked to a little plate.

I got a beautiful collar for Karma at Petco. It's very colorful and woven with peace signs. It fits perfectly with her name. Teddy has a standard muted-color tartan collar from Petco, the same type we had for Jimmy. It's for sentimental reasons, and it's very handsome, and I'll bet both of their collars together cost Less than $25. We're happy to spend, spend and spend on the dogs, but not on bling.

My husband once bought me a strand of hellishly expensive pearls -- Mikimoto pearls. A couple years later when someone commented on them and gave me an indication of what they cost, I wanted to strangle him. I wear them once every two years or so.

Expensive, BUT BEAUTIFUL pieces of art. Some of those look so majestic on the dogs.
