Watch the video, what do you think about this PSA? I think it's horrible and should never be aired again!

ATLANTA, Georgia, Nov. 13, 2007 (NBC) -- A new anti-dogfighting campaign hit the air the week before suspended Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick will be sentenced on dogfighting charges.

There's no mixed message in the 15- and 30-second spots featuring one of hip-hop's most famous faces.

Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons and others denounce dogfighting in the ads.
One 30-second spot shows a tiny terrier tied up outside a store before someone kidnaps it and tapes its mouth shut as if preparing it to be a so-called bait dog to encourage a pit bull to kill.

Still, some owners of pit bulls say it is a daily battle to fight the stereotypes surrounding their dogs, and PSA's like this only fuel the fire.

"They're just very cautious because all over the news, pit bulls are vicious. Any dog can be vicious," said pit bull owner James Allen. "My pit bulls are sweet -- wouldn't hurt a fly -- animal or human."

It's a debate that's likely to continue at least through early next month when these anti-dogfighting messages hit the airwaves and Michael Vick answers to a judge.

that video is pathetic. what they're saying (aka "these innocent dogs") isnt so bad, but its just a poorly made PSA that will be taken differently by both sides. Also, people should realize that the dog "going after the terrier" is just an actor dog, that the people making the video obviously trusted enough to not harm the terrier, aka its complete BULLSH*T. Oh well. People just wanna hype everything to make Vick get the worst sentencing possible, and I dont blame them on that account.
