Shoe manufacturer runs ad with apparent dead dog and gets bit in the butt

The Japanese are pretty much westernized today. I know many are absolutely crazy about cats since cats are good pets for small apartments and don't need walking. But they also love their dogs. It broke my heart to see all the abandoned dogs and cats at the nuclear plant which blew up. Many are still there foraging around. But whoever made that ad knew it would be going to the West and made a pretty dumb decision.
