My Yorkie got stuck in a glue trap while I was at work. She's got long, beautiful hair and I'm afraid I'll have to shave her down. What do I do???

Take her to the groomers. The hair will grow back. I hope you have already gone, doesn't that glue have poison in it?

Oops, I meant to put this in the Dog forum...

Well, I ended up soaking her in vegetable oil and then giving her a bath. Most of it came out, and I'll work on the rest tomorrow. The kind she got into isn't supposed to be poisonous. I was so close to shaving her down, I'm glad I didn't.

Carburetor cleaner will take it all off. Don't get any on her face and then wash, wash, and wash her again to make sure it is 100% off of her.

I'd put some Cowboy Magic Detangler on to her coat after the last bath and comb it in to make sure the hair isn't damaged. Long silky coats, you have to put some extra care to make sure they grow long and look their best.
