So, what do you do if you are out walking your pup in the neighborhood or in public, and he has less than solid poo? I always try to pick it up with a baggie if it is solid, but what about if it is not? Etiquette-wise, do you think it's OK to leave it?

I pick it up the best I can, trying to wipe the ground with the bag. Leaving it is not going to win you or your dog any friends! Unless it's completely liquid, which it shouldn't be, you can get most of it up.

Hmmm...guess you can carry a couple of paper towels with you to absorb what you can and stuff it into the bag. I think I'll add the towels to my arsenal.

Time to start carrying rubber gloves and paper towels along with the bag. A bottle of water to wash away what remains too. Next thing you know, we'll be carrying doggie-bags, like diaper bags. LOL

I carry a couple paper towels in my fanny pack in case I need them for any reason, like a bag breaking. (I'm a dog walker). Just pick it up as you can. You can also pull the grass OUT taking lots of it with you.

But a stool that loose indicates something is off with the food. So if it's a regular thing I'd evaluate what is going on. Not all foods work on all dogs. Unless you're giving human food randomly that's causing it. Or treats.

Whenever Artie's poops had been less than perfect, I'd take huge clumps of grass along with the poop so that I got all of it off the property.
