A squirt of water in the face and a loud NO when I catch them in the act works wonders -- no matter what size the dog.

I didn't and won't watch this video. My question is why would anybody post a video of a dog being abused on a dog forum? We are dog lovers. We are aware there are stupid and ignorant people on the earth. We are aware some people like to torture animals. We do not want to see these kinds of videos on our forum. they are inappropriate.

I didn't watch the video, either. That type of thing tends to haunt me for days and is just too disturbing. Some people are basically monsters that should not have a pet. The fact that someone actually videotaped this incident without intervening shows they are just as sick as the perpetrator.

I bet you think whooping your children is insane also, don't you?

It is called discipline. You should try it.

That's cute you change the subject to human children discipline then insult the poster as having "inadequate comprehension skills".

He didn't claim you thought it was funny. He said you were a psychopath for thinking there is nothing wrong with what he did. THATS WHAT YOU SAID.

In case your TAPATALK is too complex for you to read, this is what was said:

You discipline a 5-lb dog by whipping it with a belt as hard as you can until it yells and pees and then kick it across the room?

If you don't see anything wrong with this guy's action, then you're as psychopathic as he is. You're probably the same age as the perp's 17-yo son who thought it was pretty funny.
If BEATING AN INNOCENT FIVE POUND DOG is "perfectly ok" I suggest you volunteer to be equally beaten with the same % of violence and tools comparable to YOUR size. Let us all know when you've done it and video it because I'm pretty sure we'd all pay big money to watch your reaction, outcome and injuries.

I totally agree with this. Just reading the headline and thread is disgusting enough. If I want to seek out dog abuse, I could spend 24 hours a day for life and never run out of material.

Violent videos should be banned from this site. If dog fighting threads are zero tolerance, certainly dog BEATING threads qualify, too.

People always post the most cruel and depressing things on dog forums, and I always think they are preaching to the choir. Still, I clicked on the link, didn't I? I had no intention of watching any video, but I wanted to see what people had to say. That was a bad idea too.

Gurl. DO NOT CLICK THE LINKS.

I didn't even click the link but just the thread title will be burned in my brain indefinitely while I do my 17 year old Shih-Tzu 3x a day for the next week.

That's what I meant -- I clicked the link to the thread. When I saw it was a video, I did NOT click.
