Today was a very busy day with our rescue. We had several new dogs including two litters of puppies come in. A mix of Lab/Weimaraner(9); they turn 8 weeks old on Tuesday and I already have dibs.. Oh how I wish! Four Chocolate and five black. They are all just sweet hearts.
And the baby I want:
The next litter was picked up on the way to the adoption today. One of our volunteers found them running down an alley and in horrible shape.
We then had two new sisters Paris and Nicole; yes I know.. Such beautiful babies. They're about 3-4 months old and just terrified.
Paris:
Nicole:
Teddy Bear a stolen Kerry Blue Terrier.. We're trying to find his owners. He's been missing for over a year, but his info on his tags are all out of date. He was a pretty funny guy.
Paris is beautiful! What ever happened to these two?
Do you mean how they were found? Or were they adopted?
I do believe they were another set of strays. We get a lot of puppies that way. The set of black and white puppies were found that morning on the way to the adoption. So we get them from everywere and all the time!
Nope. No one even looked at them. We're all run through foste rhomes so they wont be euthanized. They are safe no matter what. We have had some dogs for 2-3 years.
We come from all over, but our adptions are in the DFW area.
May I ask who "we" is? What's DFW area? Sorry for all the questions.

And we're in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. It's ok.
ok, thanks. I always like to know what rescues, shelters, and organizations people are involved in. I love to hear people's experiences as they work at their facilities especially shelters. I feel the staff need a place to vent since their job is so heart renching.
