Awhile back, I read the book Listening With a Broken Ear and loved it. I highly recommend it for all dog lovers. Right now it is available for free from Amazon in Kindle version. Check out the posting of free books to download posted by Bob in the thread named Deals,Coupons and Free Stuff.
Someone repped me ( Thank You) and asked to me tell more about this book. The basic premise is the evolving story of the adoption of a less then perfect dog and the resulting trial and tribulations. What is different and heart grabbing about his one is that first, it is a true story and second, the writer draws you in and you actually feel the magic of how this adopted dog changes the family dynamics and the relationship between the mother and daughter and the daughter and the rescue as they navigate agility training.
I must have read this a year ago and I still find myself wondering how they are doing. Give it a try.
