What brand of dog food does everyone use here~? I'm thinking of switching my dog's food....again. Should one switch every so often~? I just think he needs something healthier than Royal Canine, which he's been on for quite a while.
I feed Acana now and have for about 1year. My dog loves it and does really well on it. I used to feed orijen but found my dog gained weight to easily on it (prob due to the high protien) but thay was the only issue i had with the orijen. Both Acana and Orjen are made by the same company.

He's been on Acana and had bloody stools from the very beginning on it. I took him to the Vet and that is when they told me I had to switch him and I chose Royal Canine. He's been on this for a year, and the longest time he's been on any food. I've switched him a lot thru his six years.
My dog is currently on PetSmart's house brand called Simply Nourish (canned). He is a very picky eater, but really loves this stuff! It looks almost human-grade, is supposedly comparable to Blue Buffalo, and his stomach seems to enjoy it too.
I fed Orijen for many years but have fed Acana for the last three years...it's a tad cheaper and with five dogs...LOL I feed all the varieties of Acana...to give them a change up.
Victor Beef and Rice, Joint Strong and EVOO along with probiotics.
