I want a big dog but I live in an apartment in Austin, TX and I don't think it would be fair to coop it up inside. I wish I had a backyard.

i have heard the very same thing......

as long as it is well exercised every day, an apartment shouldn't be an issue.....

heck, talk to dashdog on here..... she has had high energy herding dogs in a condo for YEARS.......

Sydney is a herding dog mix...should get up to about 40+ lbs..so medium size but we live in a 2 bedroom apartment..he gets LOTS of exercise when we get home from work though and a walk in the morning before we leave and is perfectly fine living in the apartment. Doesn't necessarily matter what the size of the dog is, its how much exercise you will be able to give it.

I have been scrolling through the pictures of everyones babies while I take a break. They are ALL so cute. Makes me want to hug each and everyone of them.
