Here are a few pictures of our Lucy girl. She is the love of our lives. She passed away on April 8th. She was going to be 3 in June. It was a freak accident in my parent's yard. I just wanted to share how cute she is. She's in heaven though and we'll see her again. I can't stand how quiet it is without her here. I haven't even been able to put any of her stuff up yet. I don't want to. We were attached to the hip, me and Lucy. I don't know if I want to get so attached to another one ever again. What do you do? Do you get two so you won't get so attached? Or do you just continually get heart broken over and over? It's awful, but there are so many dogs out there who need homes, and I love dogs.
So sorry about Lucy. What a sweetie pie! She definitely has that JRT look about her! I read her dogster page and left her a bone. What do you do? I don't know, but someday get another dog who needs a home? - Lucy would insist upon it, I'm sure! I think it's some kind of dog-law... Sorry again for your loss~

Thanks so much SeeBee. She was/ is a sweet girl. Thanks for reading her page and leaving her a bone! That's so sweet of you. We'll definitely get another one. I just don't know when to. I think Lucy would want us to give another pound dog a good home. Thank you again.
Every day Oscar, my pug and I go for a walk in the local park. There is a handicapped woman who is there every day also...She is special I guess, because all of the dogs adore her. She owns the two large poodles and the two toy poodles. Yesterday I brought my camera, and I thought I'd share the photos I took of her and the dogs.
but it bears retelling. Someone dumped a puppy at our place. It was easy to see why. The puppy had absolutely no hair save a few scraggly ones. The pup was left in a box on the propane tank of a trailer. It rained all night.
The next morning the pup jumped into Don's arms. We knew no one would adopt her if we took her to the pound, so we kept her and called her Mary Agnes Louise, because we thought that was an equally ugly sounding name.
Well, her hair grew in and she looks poodle-ish, but now she is Maggie Lou, and during Don's recent bout with cancer, she became Nurse Maggie, because during chemo and radiation treatments she was in full NURSE mode, always attentive and offering her warm body for Don during the drives to the cancer treatment center.
This is our Moli; She's an awesome Dalmation, if you look closely you can see three of her spots that look like a seal pup face. She's getting older so she has started the freckling stage of her life.
The cat is Snickers. It took a long while for the two of them to tolerate one another. Now where one is the the other wants to be. Vieing for territory and also attention. Just like any two small children.
