This is from the end of October of this year, on Artie's birthday. He's sleeping on the futon in my office, while I'm working my butt off (one of us has a sweet life). He's clearly tired from all the treats and *extra* attention from the birthday celebrations.

Finally got one of the two of them together. It's raining and thundering a little outside and they're not having it. Both want to get into bed and be lazy. They're now being lazy on the floor.

"Yo, Ma? Look, I know you were gone for, like, forever in my mind. But you need to get back on the ball, kay. You missed my morning walk when YOU want sleep. But I was wide awake and ready to party, so your sleep doesn't matter. Cool? Cool. Oh yeah, and I know you still haven't unpacked yet but clean up this dump. I will not live like this. And that means a lot coming from the dude that'll eat cat poop. Just sayin'. Oh, yeah so...we gonna play now or no? Because either way, I don't wanna so I'm just gonna go lay down in my bed and sleep. Cool? Cool. " ~~ I'm pretty sure that's what's going on in that mind. All said in like, a laid back, mellow, surfer voice.

Grace is the acrobat in this picture. Grace belonged to an associate of mine, so did Emmy the white dog. Molly the black and white border collie belonged to one of my clients at the time. I adopted Molly 2 years ago. I know that Emmy has passed on, but I think Grace is still alive. Grace could jump six feet easy.

Amazing animal pictures on Webshots

I used to have 3 guinea pigs, and the cats actually ignored them for the most part... they're just too big and clumsy/slow, I guess, unlike their usual preferred prey (smaller rodents & birds). One of my cats liked to sit in their cage, since it had an open top - but she would just sit there, never even attempting to attack or chase them.
