My 2 aunts and grandmother would name every other dog Sasha and Lindy. If Lindy just died, the next one's name would be Sasha. When Sasha passed, the next one would be Lindy.
Kept things simple I guess.
I've got a 'sasha' also. She is a bolonka, a Russian bichon, pure black and 5 pounds and thinks she's the boss of my other 2. Ziti, a 12 pound bolognese, an Italian bichon, and be be a hybrid from the other two breeds. Great dogs but hard to get GM pictures of with Ziti pure whole coat and back little ziti. Will give it a go this weekend.
Tessarose ( red with white ) with daughter T'Pol ( golden sable - ie black top coat with tan undercoat- with white in one of ( many) snow storms play in Maine.
Then T'Pol with our greyhound "Bam" playing in the snow.
This is a dog that my husband found running in the streets of Muskogee. She was very frightened and it took several weeks to catch her. The first two pictures are from the day he brought her home. The last three were taken after a few weeks of food and lovin'. Molly was starving (obviously) and had been badly abused. She also had heart worms and other parasites. We cared for her for several weeks, but couldn't keep her because of a clash between her and our lab-mix, Nebby. They got along well, but she likes to play for about 10 minutes a day and he likes to play non-stop. She just wasn't happy living with the big, goofy fella. The good folks at Animal Aid of Tulsa have taken her in, and she will be available for adoption soon. We miss her, but I know Animal Aid will find the perfect home for her.
