Here's Nanners in her e-collar after surgery on her front paws for tumors. She's a trooper and quickly learned how to place the whole cone thing on the ground to reach her food and water. Very good patient, and she only tried to bite the doctor when he went for a rectal temp. Can't say I blame her... a girl does have her dignity.
P.S. The striped chair looks a little grimy because it's her chair. (1 of her 3 beds) I just borrow it from her.

HA HA HA!!!
Brilliant. I guess goldens have an in-born appreciation for cold slate tile.
Here's our new dog, Honey, that we picked up over the weekend. She's a purebred Chow Chow who was the breeders dog, but she retired her from breeding. She's 4.5 years old and a complete sweetheart. She's one of the friendliest dogs I've met, and loves attention from kids and adults, as well as other dogs. She's got a wonderful temperament, but now we've just got to work at getting her house-trained since she's used to a kennel.
oh my goodness, that poor dog and his haircut! looks like someone failed the lion look!
Our girl was shaved down a few weeks ago; she had puppies in late spring and was too busy with the pups to keep up with her grooming. It's coming back in beautifully though, and her head/mane has already grown in well. We can't wait to see what she looks like after a few more months.
