NEW YORK -- The poodles trimmed like topiaries and the Komondors who look like four-legged Rastafarians, the Afghan hounds with their shimmering shanks of Jennifer Aniston hair and pint-size Maltese that are always gamboling three steps ahead of their handlers will have some different exotic company this weekend, now that the 138-year-old Westminster Kennel Club has decided to admit mixed-breed dogs -- that's right, mutts! -- into the nation's most celebrated and sent-up dog show.
This is stupid hype! I betting NONE of the Obedience or Agility Events will be aired! Where Mutts have always been earning Titles...so nothing new! Heck most of the Confirmation not shown...just not enough air time! I do wonder with the Over Crowding at MSG Where they going to Have these Rings set up?

If I remember the article correctly, the agility will not be at MSG.
By the way, the hype isn't because it may or may not be aired, but that they're allowing mutts in.
The real Hype should be that they are including Agility in the 1st place. Mutts Have Always been allowed in those events....where there have been agility trails. Read RW links folks! Learn How Your dog can Earn AKC Titles!
The Westminster Kennel Club will add to its incomparable legacy in the sport of dogs in 2014 when it stages The Masters Agility Championship at Westminster, on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, between the hours of 11AM and 10PM at Pier 94 in New York City.
