He's adorable, and many will no doubt say he's pit/lab, but at that age, half the short haired puppies out there look like pit/lab. As he grows, it may be easier to tell. I hope you made a sincere effort to find the owner! Someone may be searching high and low for him. A shelter or vet will check for a microchip at no cost, and your state probably has a lost and found dog page on facebook, just for starters. He appears to have an eye infection.

Not a MinPin! That's a puppy most likely got scared when you walked by... esp if s/he was asleep.

I see chocolate lab and a whole lot of love. Super cute, and hope the bush monster is a permanent family member or back home. The pictures makes me what to go walking by bushes.

Those big paws mean he's going to be a big one, whatever it is aside from super cute.

Heh. Total cutie. No idea what he is. I'd take him to the vet and see if they can determine his age. That might clue you in as to how big he will be ultimately and that might lend some clues as to breed. I hesitate to put a label on a dog that age - I know of at one case in which a veterinarian, of all people, insisted vociferously that an 8-week-old beagle puppy was actually a 6-week-old rottweiler. When they're that young, it's really hard to tell.
