This isn't all that unusual. It happens every now and then. It's believed to be caused by a combination of
meconium ( in utero puppy poop), along with placental and & amniotic fluid, often with some infection mixed in.
The green pups are the ones inadvertantly bathed in the mess during birth. The green will fade and go away eventually. It's only noticed on light colored dogs. It happens to dark pups too, just not very noticeable.
