HAHA. That's a good idea. My upstairs neighbor and I used to put landscaper flags on it at night in the snow so we'd be able to avoid/scoop it later. We also used them in normal daytime with no snow because her dog had IBS with diarrhea and mine did too, occasionally.

Clever idea... but I wonder if it takes more effort to spray paint or just pick the poop up itself.

It might be a warning. Seriously, if there are enough irresponsible dog owners at your Apt complex, the owners/managers may be developing their case to change their pet policy mid lease.

They are maintenance staff, not maids. I think it is a brilliant idea. It will show those that leave the poo there, while thinking its ok, because everyone else cleans theirs up when in reality, everyone is thinking and doing the same thing...just one won't make a difference.

I see hot pink poo as saying 'hey people, see what you are doing?'

Before we moved there was a grooming shop next door that made and sold pills that changed your dogs poop different colors so you could see to pick it up/know your dogs was picked up.

Peek A Poo Treats - See the Difference

We didnt buy them because we did pick up but it was a neat idea. Id rather give my dog a tablet than spray paint the lawn!
