WOW! I was beginning to wonder if Mr. Unger would ever be ready for that leap of faith after Schoep's passing, as we all know the countdown to that dreaded day you say goodbye begins the day you say hello.

Congratulations and best wishes for many contented years to John and Bear! Sleep easily sweet Schoep. And my heartfelt thanks to all who rescue and adopt; you are all my heroes.

I have followed him for so long. People kept asking him when he would adopt again. He dog sat for others and did some travelling but he was right to wait and not rush into anything. I hope Jon and Bear live long and happy lives together.

ooohhh... thanks for posting this!! I saw something about it somewhere yesterday but didn't have time to follow it.....

hhhhmmmmm .... I was following John on FB, too.... but stopped seeing anything from him a while ago.... I figured he had lost interest in FB or something..... gonna have to go refind him.... stupid FB....
