the part that concerns me is the part where it says the employee had their arms wrapped around the dogs neck while 2 other restrained him...
bulldogs shouldn't have any pressure applied around the neck area...a combination of stress and mishandling is likely a huge contribution to this poor dogs end.

I can tell you as part of the training safe and correct restraint is not a topic typically taught...

I have a "difficult" bulldog but if I ever saw anyone put their arms around his neck, I would have a fit!

If they couldn't restrain him I would expect them to suggest I take him to a vet for his clipping and send me on my way, not strangle him.

Ugh... Horrible. It breaks my heart since I have 3 bulldogs.

Clipping or Dremel?

Clipping can be very stressful or even painful (but it is the quick and dirty way).
