As I suggested on a previous post of yours, I think it is time for you to consider your dog's well-being and quality of life, and step up to ease his transition.
I agree. Gentle (always with pre-sedation) and loving (showering our pets with happy tears so they don't feel fear from our panicked tears) euthanasia is the best gift we can give our beloveds when they are suffering with no reasonable chance of improvement.

Well I took Jake to the vet. They finally told me that he has about 2 more months of life left. What can I do to make this as much fun and comfortable for him? Should I try another heart medication for Jake or not?
I am very numb and nervous about this. Help me out here please.

I am so sorry that you and Jake now have to go through that. The best you can do for him is to act totally normal. No sad faces. Dogs pick up on our emotions immediately. Be upbeat, and let him do whatever he can still do, of the things he has been used to doing. And do your crying when he is not watching you. I can't advise you about the medication, but unless the vet has advised against it, feed him his favorite foods, take him to his favorite places, anything that you can remember afterwards and say to yourself, "We did that together."
