This idiot was using marijuana butter and dropped some on the floor. Poor dog ate it. He claims the dog was "OK" after it wore off but look at the poor thing. I wonder how distressed he was not knowing what was going on.
My cat use to eat my roomates weed all the time. He would look every where till he found it. One day I came home he was chasing him all over the house, the cat had the whole bag in his mouth.
Reckless youth ... days of yore ... my friend's doxie mix hung around for the 2nd hand effluent. We'd help him out a bit using various tricks of the trade. No ill effects as far as we could tell.
My roommate and I both use it for medical reasons (and a little bit recreationally), and she has a lot of other prescribed medication she takes for her disabilities. We are super-careful about making sure the dogs don't get a hold of any of it, but I'm sure accidents happen. It's definitely not something I would find funny.
Hell, I recently got some new edibles, and accidentally ate a much higher dosage than usual when I got one of my headaches. I KNEW exactly what was going on and that I just had to wait it out, but it was pretty unpleasant (though the headache wasn't bothering me at all at that point - go figure). I can't imagine what it would be like for a dog that didn't understand what was happening.
Eating raw cannabis doesn't work like that, it needs to be heated over 260 Degrees (f) to turn the THCA into THC.
I don't think so.....just sayin.
