It's been really warm last couple nights an it is making it smell worse, I can't take it an nothing is working. The carpet cleaner we used was even for animal pee an I think it made it smell worse. If you have a method that works please tell me.
Buy a bottle of Nature's Miracle (Petsmart carries it). Apply full strength and soak the affected area. DO NOT DRY OR WIPE OFF. Leave the spot to dry naturally and the smell will be gone when it does, guaranteed. I have never used anything that has worked as well as this product has for pet stains and messes, especially urine smell.

Using any of the deodorizers without cleaning up the urine is going to leave a visible stain. It really is a good idea to clean up the mess, then use the deodorizer. If the pet poops on the carpet, do you just spray it with deodorizer?

Natures Miracle and Simple Solution both eliminate the urine through an enzyme action. If the stain is wet, I would blot it with paper towels first to get as much liquid up as possible. Then saturate the area with the product. These DO WORK.
