My puppy grabbed her leash off the chair and just looked at me. I said, "What do you want..?" (she had just been out a half an hour ago). It's freezing but she had eaten so I thought, okay, let's try it again..(she likes to just sniff around..) Guess what...she did you know what...
Maybe I can let my puppy walk me from now on. Lol...sorry if it sounds dumb. Just wanted to share with you all.

Yes, she is having a good day...she barked at my husband when she had to go out again.
The better food is helping. I feed her Canidae now (she was on Ol' Roy at the rescue). She's doing much better, really happy, looks good...she's adjusted so well in a week.

Another report...
She went all of yesterday (apart from first time up) without soiling or peeing the house. The same for overnight (she slept in our room on her pillow and whined 2 times (once about 2, again about 4-5) to go out. Again I was up by 6-6:30 for good. We've been out about a lot but she HAS not used the inside sheet.

I am so proud of her. It helps my husband is helping more at night (he's off Sat/Sunday nights). It gets hectic sometimes..she will whine to go out 2-3 times in a row, right after you JUST walked her but has been doing 'something' nearly every time, even just a little bit.

If only we had decent weather (it's FREEZING and icy here) it would be great. This morning she climbed one of the ice mountains near our yard. I have to give this one something to do or she is going to be 'destructive.' Any ideas what to do to channel her energy? Come spring, my husband will take her jogging with him. The park is calling us...so you all wish it gets to be 50 degrees here for about a week to get rid of this snow!! (mudslide time..)

Great little pup you have there. Already picking up on cues. I wish my bassets were that bright when they were pups. Took awhile.
