I'm over at the coast and have discovered that Pensive isn't really house trained.
She has been very reliable but, surprise, it turns out that she was trained for just the one house. So, a new house and I am house training again.
That's not really rare. A dog will be trained for their own home but does not generalize the lesson. It's also quite different here because there are no dog doors, so she is going to have to learn how to ask to go out.
Yes I dealt with that a handful of times. We hung a bell from the door and would take it other places we were staying. Dog knows to ring bell when he wants out.
Aww, sorry you have to go through that again Oregon. Do you have any pictures of your new friend to share?
