my 15 week puppy eats everything she just ate a bird with out swallowing it i was to late to get it out of her mouth what can i do so that she doesn't eat everything
Keep things away from her that she shouldn't eat. All puppies want to put everything in their mouths. They are like babies. You have to make sure she can't get to anything that will harm her.
Hmm, I'm thinking that you'd better have her checked for worms if she ate a bird or other things that might contain worm larvae (other dog's poop, etc)
Do you have her on a leash when she is eating these things or is she just free roaming? Better put her in a harness or collar and keep her under your control on a leash until she's past the stage of eating everything in sight.
She's a puppy and that's what puppies do. You need to be her advocate and protect her from even herself. That means watching her all the time and when you can't, have her in a crate or x-pen.

Yes Esmeralda, until she is past the stage of wanting to put everything into her mouth, I'd keep her on a leash. That way, if she is going to sniff and swallow something she shouldn't, you can stop it before it happens. It's not as easy for you, but better than having a sick dog.
You may want to start teaching her "leave it" command. You don't want to have to go through an expensive exploratory surgery if she swallows something that could cause blockage. Surgery is not always successful. Good luck with your pup!
