I don't think "vicious" is the problem, but the ability and tendency for the breed to do bodily harm to people being where the caution lies with certain breeds. Our neighbor has a "rat dog" which came into the yard to face off with my dogs and compared to the two pitbulls coming after my leased dogs on a walk.........

Just like with people, claiming that they are all the same because of "breeding" doesn't play out in the real world.

While this story is great, it is more the exception than the rule.

Sorry, it's the other way around. There are millions of pit bulls in this country, and most have never hurt a fly.

I have serious doubts that a 5 month old pup has the capacity to understand what is happening.

So many of these stories are just made up baloney to garner attention.
