Today I decided I am ready to get another Great Pyr. Without going into detail, this time I don't want a rescue. I want a puppy.
I am willing to drive to the top of the state, even into southern Ga. or Ala., but no further due to time constraints and a new job. I don't want him flying., (I want to meet with the pups several times, and review the place they are living)
Does anyone know of any reputable breeders here in my state? If I could get an opinion from some of my other buddies here, that I know love dogs, it would mean a lot to me.

The Only way you are going to Know whats what is to Visit in Person. Don't trust the Internet! I my area there have been several kennels closed down cause the Web Looked good! Great References ... Last was the Pitbull/AmStaff Breeder Over 100 Dogs She had a List of Famous people that purchased pups from her! Movie Stars, Writers, All Kinds NOT One was TRUE! Worse was the way they took care of the dogs ... Dogs Lived in the home Dogs Bred when ere to whom ever & Sh*T 6" Deep in Most of the rooms in the home. Another Breeder Showed Afgan Hounds. In the Show Ring they were Champs at home they were living in the Townhouse in Pee Soaked Carpets! The guy ever Locked him wife inside with any dogs Not at the show & pups! They found 5 adults 4 F & 1M & litters of pups from 1 day old to 6 months old. about 50 in all.
Thank you everyone. I will look into your links. Oregon, the dog will be more of a pet, and will live with kitties. He will have a fenced in 1 1/2 acres, and someone with him all day long.
The dog will stay indoors except for brief walks in summer, and go outside much more in our cooler months. I'm sure that will be his own choice, as that is what my Leo (pyr I lost a few months back) did. Leo slept under AC almost all day in summers.
And special thanks to SimplePeace. I am looking into those links too

The breeders listed from the parent club are really the best place to start for pet quality too.
Call Kerry Kern Woods in Ellensburg Washington and ask her for reputable breeder in your area. Or have pup flown from her farm.
