Is there a food that would make a dog, particularly a puppy, more hyper than the other? We were going to switch our puppy's food from chicken-based kibble to chicken and fish based. In the transition to the second food (mixing the old and new for a few days until just solely using the new), he seemed calm but he didn't seem to like it as much, so we switched back and he just seems so much more active with the original food. I don't know if it's giving him energy or if he just likes his first food so much more. I kind of like the second food where he isn't as hyper, lol, but the fish component doesn't seem too appetizing to him.

None of my dogs like a fish based kibble as the primary component of their meal..... but it makes FANTASTIC treats.....
