Absolutely. If it would improve the quality of the dog's life I would treat it.

Absolutely treat it. The dog will feel much better. The meds are cheap.

Agree. Yes, the dog is getting up there in age, but the meds are cheap and easy to administer, and they will make a big difference in how the animal feels. Unlike many other veterinary procedures, it's a no-brainer, really.
