Good stuff! Looks like the dog thought the fawn was food though. Without the man's intervention, the dog probably would have eaten the fawn.

I don't see any signs of wanting to eat the fawn. If that were the case, the fawn would have killed after being brought out of the water.


The dog just sort of sniffed it-like wanting to help it.

Great video! The dog did what his brain and instincts told him to do, retrieve. After all he's a golden retriever. He was obviously fascinated by the baby deer and didn't want to hurt him. What a good boy he is!!!
