Have a Havanese that I'm not planning on trimming. Any recommendations for an effective detangler?Koale

Cowboy Magic Detangler and Shine!! Fantastic stuff. I first used it on my show horses' tails. Now I use it on me, too. It's safe for dogs. A little goes a long way so a bottle lasts a long time. Check it out!

yup this, definitely.
Also moving forward, always use a conditioner when you bathe that will prevent tangles as well...

Default hey, thanks...

I have been using Cowboy magic...love it. I have been trying corn starch on the mats and boy does that work extremely well...thanks for the help.

So glad you like it! I haven't tried the cornstarch as I haven't had to deal with mats (yet) but good to have that in my bag of tricks.

For years my grooming associates have used a product called The Stuff. When show season was upon us, had a hard time keeping it on the shelf!!
