This came across my FB news feed just now. Disgusting but not at all surprising.

If Chinese baby formula is contaminated with poisons, you know they aren't careful about dog toys.

I've always seen exactly what was in my dog toys within a few minutes of buying them, unfortunately. My takeaway is don't buy dog toys from 5Below. I tend to only get my dogs stuff that's made by Kong or another manufacturer I'm familiar with.

I don't buy any stuffed toys because every dog I've ever had loves to remove the stuffing and I don't want them swallowing that stuff. Mostly, maybe always, stuffing is kapok-- nylon or polyester fake cotton stuff that cushions are always stuffed with. It's not digestible.

I used to buy Dr Noyes toys that were plush with no stuffing, until I got dogs who entertained themselves by shredding fabric

Pensive loves her purple ball that is plastic over a solid expanded foam ball. She's had it for a year, but I have to keep it away from Wyatt McRiot, because he is determined to shred it.

We have had the same white teddy shaped dog toy thru 3 dogs and it is still in good shape. Wish it had a tag or I could remember who makes it.
