Dr le Chevoir says the bacteria Campylobacter is now considered a triggering agent in up to 40 per cent of GBS patients. It is present in undercooked chicken, unpasteurised milk products and contaminated water.

A sample size of 27 is incredibly small and bizarre to make a generalization about all the dogs eating raw.

I've been feeding my cats raw chicken for years...

They're ALL thriving!

Must be just a dog thang!

I was just passing this info on as a precaution. I don't feed raw to my dogs.
