Update- I broke down and adopted on of the pups. I talked to the owner and he is working to get the pups adopted out but still has four left. He's giving them away.
I'm glad I'm not the only one in the county that "scrapes dogs off the road and keeps them"
This is why I have ten dogs in the Pet Sematary ---- they aren't all mine but certainly at least deserved a decent burial.
No, I can't take any of the remaining pups. I'm well along into retirement, still have one rescue and one re-home, along with my last two horses and a couple of cats, lol.
Puppies need forever homes. --- not a place with elderly, where a forever home isn't guaranteed.

OMG I'm in love! (I have a soft spot for brindles) I think I'd be a sucker for that one, too I'm glad all of this worked out, sort of. Be even better if he got his dogs neutered/spayed but at least the pups are safe now.
It's a "She" dog. It seems to me that most people prefer male dogs for some reason so I decided to take a smaller female.
