Oops - sorry

I do prefer the males of dogs and horses -- my ex always said that was because I subconsciously enjoyed getting all of them neutered in his place,

Have you named her?

I should have mentioned her gender earlier; No sorry necessary.

I prefer females because they seem (to me) less aggressive and mellower.

Somehow I always wind up with female dogs. I've had 6 dogs in my lifetime, all female. Not sure why, it's not a conscious effort but it's happening for some reason!

Why are men so sensitive about that. I prefer female dogs but have taken in a few males and of course they all get neutered and I get the stank eye from all my male relatives when I do.
When I took my nephews dog in when he enlisted I had Chubs (the dog) neutered and the clinic agreed to put the testicles in a jar of formaldehyde I provided so I could send him pics just to mess with him. I still have them in a jar labeled Chub's chubs.

I've seen grown men cry when they had to have their stud horses gelded.

Update: All but one of the pups has found a new home. The owner insisted on keeping one of the males but the final two females were taken by a rescue group and are on their way to Illinois.
