While you can have the blood test done & be told that day the dog is fine 1-2 months up the road he might not even be protected. So why not just get the shots & know the dogs protected.

Default Does he need that many shots

As Keeper stated, when your pup is mature and has had its' adult shots I would do the Titers test. A lady I train dogs with had a Standard Poodle that only needed 1/2 dose of Parvo over 12 years. The rest besides the Rabies stayed strong enough to not need a booster.

My lab, Emma has had broken tail syndrome for the third time (last weekend being the most recent). Thank goodness I now recognize it now. Each time it has happened she had been in and out of cold water. This time she is feeling better after three days. When it first happens, an anti-inflamatory aid helps. Two ibprofen each morning and try not to make them wag their tail. Yeh right!
