I´ve got a question:

Is milk good for dogs? why yes? if no, why not?

Are you giving your dogs milk? My first dog loved milk and i´ve heard that for westies milk is bad... what are you thinking about that?

Dogs tend to be lactose intolerent as do adult cats. Not to mention the sugar content in those items is not good for their systems.

If you are wanting to give them a cold treat during the warmer months, try frozen baby carrots or even ice cubes, bother my kids love those

milk isn't really good for anything.
Give humans sinus problems and clogged noses ...not good for dogs or cats either. Its good for baby cows! =)

Try frosty paws if your looking for a cold treat for the dogs

getting off topic, but dairy is perfectly fine for people who are not lactose intolerant or allergic. cultures thrived on it for centuries.

dogs are supposedly lactose intolerant, but they will eat almost anything whether or not it's good for them. (case in point, my dogs eat poop and vomit). I wouldn't give them milk or yogurt, which are high in lactose, but I think cheese is ok occasionally since it is low in lactose.

Milk isn't good for dogs...now puppys it may be ok. Since they drink it from their mother...but yea ice cubes and stuff like that but now if you give them ice cream dont give Chocolate. Vanilla is ok. I use to give my dog cheese all the time. he loves it. but it will make them consipated, if they eat to much. but i am pretty sure its ok for puppies not dogs tho. or atleast not a lot of it.

yogurt is a bacteria and can actually fight off infection.
I give Cody a spoon of yogurt every morning. Vet said its very smart.

I disagree on the milk and humans comment, but I asked for it getting off dog subject in the first place.
