Left PetSmart that is. Specifically the treat aisle. I bought the Kong toys. After reading up on the Kong brand treats and finding that they are not the ummm best for puppies and dogs I decided to go for a different treat to place in side the toy. I was told to stay away from the greenies. Okay two down about 500 still left to choose from. I was so out of my element With no help in site I left treatless. SO what is the best puppie treats to give my 9 week old pup and one big enough to fit in the Kong?

Peanut butter is the best and easiest to fill it with. When we were in puppy training classes, I brought it along with his blanket and some peanut butter to keep him busy in between things...

Yes. The kong filler is like the cheese product in the cans... only worse.

Almost all of the treats here are 100% natural, single ingredient, healthy things. PetExtras.com - No Recalls on any of our pet products! Shadow is partial to the bullstix, achilles tendons, dried rabbit, venison jerky.........

Sadly my kids are all severely allergic to peanut butter so I don't feel safe using it. The gal at PetSmart recommended peanut butter as well but it just isn't an option for us

Green beans are tasty, too!

I've kind of given up on Kongs. My Poodle has learned to go to the top of the stairs and throw the Kong down to the bottom, which, done often enough, dislodges whatever I put inside. Peanut butter gobs on the floor are not good, carrots pop out, biscuits shatter to powder. This is one smart dog....

I not only do peanut butter for the kong toys but baby CARROTS! How can you go wrong? My dog get two every day, once mid-morning and once at night. They love it. I have given it to every dog that I have had in my life.
