No, I didn't share my suspicions. I have no proof and I wouldn't want to cast doubt on people just based on my gut feeling. LOL, I really don't want to start a neighborhood row! Coco was taken a few weeks ago.

Don't like to be suspicious but one of the neighbors has a son in his 20s whose buddies all come to visit him and often bring along their pitbulls. If I had to bet, it would be that one of them took her to breed her. She was a very pretty puppy.
Just awful . That's how it often happens though, neighbors and associates are the ones who know you have an unattended dog in the yard .

Because we seldom hear about the heartwarming good stories, here's a blog called bean the pit (subtitled, punish the deed not the breed). Bean lives locally in Durham, NC and was STOLEN last February, from the car when her Dad popped into a pet supply store to get food. The entire community and then some came together, raised $, posted flyers, got the local media involved, etc., and miracle of miracles, Bean came home!! It's a great read, very witty, adorable photos, etc. so I highly recommend it. Check the archives for the time she was gone and then reunited. Very heartwarming. Here's hoping Coco has a similar story ending...
