One of the most touching photos I've ever seen. I'm in tears right now.

Wow....What a moving picture. Speaking as a person that has been through a major flood disaster, and having been told to leave pets at home....then afterwards going through a week long process of having our pets, along w/ hundreds of other owners pets needing to be rescued....I would never ever leave them behind again.

This is what I want every adopter of my foster dogs to feel about their new best friend.

no kudzu

You've posted a lot of pictures. Some to make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside, some to inspire tears and maybe anger a bit.

That is my absolute favorite. If you never post another photo (and certainly hope you do-lots and lots more!) that is the one that just really says it for me.

Don't know who the guy is but hope he and his buddy made it and will have a long time together.

I would NEVER leave my dogs behind either nor would we stay in place in the event of a mandatory evacuation. This is why I have their records together and plans A,B,C,D in event of an emergency.
